We worked together with Jody and Amy to create strategic brand messaging and website copy, including a set of values which resonated throughout their branding, reinforcing their commitment to delivering exceptional food. The tagline we crafted, “Food celebrated. Goodness shared,” encapsulated the very essence of The Local Plate, inviting all to join in the celebration of exceptional food and the sharing of goodness within a close-knit community.

We created a collection of logos, badges and a signature pattern that reflected Jody and Amy's vision for business that could adapt, grow and thrive alongside their communities diverse and shifting needs. One summer, The Local Plate was able to open a successful food truck, serving local burgers and holding various fundraisers to help local families in need.
We also created a website that mirrored the simplicity and wholesomeness of their ingredients. Designed with a focus on the Kootenay community they reside, The Local Plate’s website exudes a local and approachable charm. Drawing inspiration from nature, farms, and traditional butchers, the entire project embodied a neighbourly and nature-inspired aesthetic.
